Ingredients :
Shredded Cabbage -3cups
Grated Carrot -1/2 cup
Garam masala -1Tbsp
Salt as per taste
Pepper
Red Chilli Powder
Ginger Paste -1tbsp
Finely Chopped Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Soy Sauce-1tbsp
White Flour/ All-purpose Flour -1/2 cup
Corn Starch-1/4 cup
INGREDIENTS FOR GRAVY :
Oil
Ginger Pieces
Bell Pepper
Cabbage
Salt
Soy Sauce
Tomato Sauce
Red Chili Sauce
Pepper
Powder Sugar
Water -1cup
Corn Starch -1Tbsp
INSTRUCTION :
In a bowl take 3 cups of shredded cabbage, 1/2 cup of grated Carrot. Squeeze all the water and save the water for later use in gravy.
Add 1 Spoon of Garam Masala, salt, pepper, red chili powder, 1 spoon of ginger paste, finely chopped curry leaves & coriander leaves, 1 spoon soy sauce, 1/2 cup of white flour & 1/4 cup of corn starch. Don’t add water. Mix it well and make small balls out it by using oil on your palms.
* if balls or not forming, if the batter is loses adjust by adding some flour or if the batter is too stiff adjust with water
Place those on parchment paper on a baking tray, brush with little oil and bake them on 300-350 degrees for 20-25 mins. Kept them for 1-2 min in broil mode.
Adjust your timings if they didn’t cook properly.
For Gravy:
In a large pan or wok, add oil, ginger pieces, green chili, bell peppers, cabbage, & salt. Sauté for a minute or two on high flame, then add soy sauce, tomato sauce, red chili sauce, pepper powder, sugar, and 1 cup of water. And after add corn starch mixture( 1 spoon corn starch + 3 spoon water )bring it to boil. Then add the Manchuria balls on to gravy. Mix it well and add coriander leaves on top of it. It’s ready to offer.
