Semolina Dessert by Mousumi Basuri Mataji
1 - one cup of suji
2 - 1/2 cup of water
3 - one cup of fresh coconut
4 - some dried fruit
5 - jaggery
6 - pinch of green cardamom powder
First we need to prepare the stuffing for the item. Freshly grated coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder mix together in a heated pan and stir until the jaggery melts and coconut is sticky.
Dough—take a pan and pour 1.5 cups of water and heat it until some bubbles come, add 1 teaspoon ghee and a tea spoon funnel seed, 2 teaspoon sugar, pinch of salt. Then add 1 cup of suji and stir in low flame until a soft dough is ready.
make kakra --take a handful of dough and make a circle and put some stuffing inside and roll back. then deep fry in oil
