Jhangri

 



Ingredients 

1 cup - Urad Dal batter (like vada)

Mix some food color

1 tspn corn starch optional (Mataji did not add)

Add it to piping bag or ziplock 

Make a tiny hold to squeeze the dough 


Keep oil in medium heat.


First make two circles and then flower petals along the circumference. 

Fry till done on both sides


Sugar syrup:

Make sugar syrup with 1+1/2 cup sugar - small 1 string consistency 

Add elaichi powder 

Arrest crystallization with lemon drops 

Soak the fried jhangri and Offer :)
