Sprouts vada (shallow fry)

 


Ingredients:


Green moong dal soaked or sprouted -  1/2 cup
Black eyed beans soaked or sprouts  - 1/2 cup
Rice flour (optional)- 1 tbsp
Roasted or fresh Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Cashews splits m- 2 tbsp
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Green mirchi - 3
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - handful
Curry leaves - handful
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon or as per your taste

Method:


1. Grind sprouts, ginger and mirchi until a coarse paste with some water or butter milk.
2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Apply some oil to tawa, make vada shape on tawa itself and sprinkle some oil. Cover with a lid and fry them until golden brown color.
4. Ready to offer as is or with any fresh chutney.
