Chia Seeds Pudding

 

 


 Chia seeds pudding:


Ingredients:

 
Chia seeds - 1 cup
Almonds - 1 cup
Dates - 10 to 12 count
Saffron or vanilla essence - little
Cinnamon powder - pinch
Salt - pinch
Raisins - 1/4 cup
Cashews - 1/2 cup
Pumpkin seeds - 1/2 cup
Sunflower seeds - 1/4 cup
Fruits of choice - 1 cup

Method:

 
1. Badam milk- Soak almonds for atleast 8 hours and grind them with little water to make smooth paste. Add dates pieces and make a fine paste. Add another 4 cups of water and give a quick mix.

2. Filter the milk using a cotton or Muslin cloth. Now add cinnamon powder, salt and vanilla essence. Badam floved milk is ready.

3. Soak chia seeds, cashews pieces, raisins. Sunflower, pumpkin seeds in badam milk for  atleast a couple of hours. Refrigerate for better taste.

4. Add fruits of your choices and ready to offer.

Notes: Great source of protein and fiber with long lasting sustainable energy. I believe this can be made as ekadasi Prasadam.

Substitute badam milk with coconut milk. Any variety of nuts, seeds, fruits can be added.

Chia seeds can also be substituted with sabja seeds.
