Paneer Frankie with Palak Roti

 





INGREDIENTS :

For the palak paratha

1 cup  Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup  Spinach Leaves (Palak)pureed
1 Green Chilli, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon  Cumin Powder (Jeera)
Salt to taste
Oil,  for kneading

Stuffing :

  • 2 tsp oil
  • ½ capsicum 
  • 2 potatoes 
  • ¾ cup paneer/cottage cheese 
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder / Lal Mirch powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS :

Palak Roti 

Prepare a dough with palak puree.
Further pinch a medium-sized ball of dough, roll, and flatten it.
Also, dust with some wheat flour.
Roll it in a thin circle like chapati or paratha.
Now on a hot Tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
When the base is partly cooked, flip and cook.
Also, brush oil/ghee and press slightly.

 Panner Frankie 
  • Firstly, In a Pan, saute capsicum for 2-3 minutes in some oil.
  • Further, add boiled potato, carrots & paneer.
  • Add chili powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala and salt.
  • Mix well and prepare. keep aside.
  • now, add butter onto the Tawa and roast spinach chapati or wraps until they warm up.
  • Now place the roasted chapati or wrap on a flat surface.
  • Spread a generous amount of tomato sauce.
  • Further, place the spread stuffing of vegetables in the center.
  • Apply green chutney.
  • Now fold the bottom up.
  • Also slowly, fold both sides one after another.
  • we can cut them in half for 2 pieces
  • Roll into aluminum foil or butter paper covering the Frankie.
  • Finally, veg Frankie or kathi roll is ready to serve to Lord with tomato sauce.
