Garden cress laddoo

 




Ingredients 


100 gm Garden crest seeds

225 gm jaggery ( I like less sweet so this is the qty I take)

Edible gum 50 gm ( add little qty at a time to hot ghee till it gets crunchy & puffed up )

Coconut water

Ghee 

Ground almond ( I add a couple of cups or more)

Shredded coconut as per taste ( I add almost a cup or little more) 

Soak seeds in coconut water for 2-3 hrs. We don’t want it too runny so can start with small qty & keep adding.


Add little ghee in a kadai & add jaggery & stir until it melts on slow heat. Add garden crest seeds & stir for about a couple of mins just to mix all together. Turn the stove off & add ground almonds & shredded coconut. Once all this comes to room temperature add fried gum. Mix alll together  & bind to laddoos.
