Dalch

 







Dalch is a side dish for Biryani. It’s a sambar kind with channa dal.

Recipe:

1 Cup -Channa dal

1/4 Cup- brinjal 

1/4 Cup - Lauki

1 tomato

1 green chili

Turmeric powder

Mint leaves

 Coriander leaves

Curry leaves

Tamarind Spoon -1spoon  

Red chili Powder 

Dry Coconut Powder -1spoon  

Oil 

Salt 

Method :

Add all these with 3 cups of water in the pressure cooker. Cook until 5-6 whistles. After cool down, blend it and add 1 Spoon tamarind pulp, add water and bring it oil. While it’s boiling add 1-2 spoons oil, redchilli powder & 1 spoon dry coconut.(This step is the key for this recipe). After 2-3 min you can Switch off the flame.
