Wood Apple Chutney/Kavat Chutney

Wood apple -1
Cumin seeds
Salt
Red Chillies powder
Jaggery
Method :
Wood apple chutney can be made in different ways.
The simple way is to roast some cumin seeds and makes a coarse powder ( I just crushed it with the rolling pin on the rolling board). Fresh is best.
Break open the wood apple scoop out the inner pulp add a pinch of salt little red chilli powder and jaggery. For a bowl of pulp ( add 4 tbsp of jaggery) mix well. I grated the jaggery so it was well mixed in no time. Add the fresh cumin seeds crushed and mix. Done. Adjust the jaggery as per the taste of the fruit. Sometimes the fruit is very sour. So you might have to add more jaggery.
