White Matar Subji

 


Ingredients

1/2 cup -white Matar 

 2-Vine Tomatoes

  Ginger-1/2 small piece 

Cilantro-handful  

Methi 

Coconut powder

  Zeera

 Hing

 Bayleaf 

Cloves

 Dry Spices 

Haldi

 Red Chillie 

Garam Masala 

Dhaniya Powder

 Salt

 oil 

water 

Method :

Soak one and half cup white matar overnight 

Grind two vine tomatoes 🍅 with a good piece of ginger and a handful of cilantro ( I add a handful of coconut powder sometimes, I did today )

In oil add jeera, Hing, bay leaf, cloves and let or splitter 

Add tomato paste next 

Let it cook for a while 

Add dry spices ( Haldi, Namak, red chili, gram Masala, dhaniya powder ) 

Let it cook 

Add Matar , two big pinches of Methi 

 and four cups water and pressure cook for three whistles 🙏🏼🙏🏼

After u open cooker boil if the gravy isn’t smooth yet 

Add cilantro and ready to offer with rice 🙏🏼🙏🏼
