Peanut chikki




Ingredients

 2 cups Peanuts 

1 cup Jaggery 

 1 spoon -Ghee 

 Cardamon Powder (optional)

Methos :

Roast peanuts nicely on low flame to medium. 

Remove the covering and split it into half this is time-consuming.

Take one cup of jaggery in a pan then switch the flame add 1 spoon of ghee and let it melt on low flame keep stirring. The best is to grate the jaggery. 

When it melts keep stirring there will be a point when the jaggery bubbles really. This takes time to check in a bowl of water by adding a drop of the boiling jaggery it should be brittle. 

Add peanuts and switch off the flame. If you need add cardamom powder. Mix well and then add this on a clean platform or rolling board that is greased well. With the rolling pin which is already greased roll the Chikki as thin as you want. Cut ut when it sets a little. Either with a knife. or pizza cutter. Let it set then you can remove it. Try to loosen it a little when it is warm with the help of a knife so in case it sticks to the platform.
