 Amla pickle/Gooseberry pickle 

Indian store frozen gooseberry 

Ingredients


Salt

Chili powder 

Mustard powder -2 tsp(no for Ekadasi)

Methi powder-1 tsp

Mustard seeds (not for Ekadasi)

Lemon juice-1 big lemon full

Turmeric powder-1 tsp

Oil-as needed

Method :

Wash frozen gooseberries, dry with the cloth napkin.

Put oil (4 tbsp) on the pan and sauté amla pieces until lightly brown.

After cooling down add chili powder,salt,mustard powder,methi powder ,hing.

Give Tadka in oil with mustard seeds, red chilies, and add.

Lemon juice adds lastly and adjusts the taste.

Mtjs mustard seeds and mustard powder are optional /some don’t use for Ekadasi.

Amla is good and very rich in vitamin c.🙏
