Jalapeno Bread

 



For jalapeno bread:

Ingredients

Bread flour 

Cheddar Cheese 

Pickled Jalapenos 

Balsamic 

Italian Herbs

 Sourcream 

Sugar

Oil 

Water (approximately) 

Yeast 

Salt 


Method :

Take a dry bowl, add yeast, sugar, and lukewarm water and stir well, cover it and keep in any place for 15 min or until yeast froths 

Take another bowl. Add flour and salt, mix well and make well in the center and add activated yeast. Add handful of cheddar cheese and pickled jalapenos, and as usual mix well and make the dough. Initially, it will be sticky, take a little oil or butter on your hands and knead the dough for 10 to 12 mins. The dough will become soft and elastic. 

Place the dough into a greased pan and cover it with cling wrap. Now keeps this pan in some warm place for 45 mins or until it doubles in volume 

When doubled in volume, punch it and knead for another 5 mins 

Shape it in a log and keep in a greased tin 

Cover it and leave for 30 mins 

Give it milk wash before baking 

Bake the bread at 200 c ( for bread 35 min)

Once baked keep in a wire rack and brush it with butter or oil 

Let it cool down completely.

Dressing:

  For dressings Mataji, this was balsamic with Italian herbs and a touch of sour cream in it.
