Chekkalu or Nippattu recipe


Ingredients


Rice flour - 1 cup

Besan flour - 1/4 cup

Roasted peanuts - 1/4 cup coarsely crush them and keep aside

Roasted chana dal( putnala pappu) -1/4 cup coarsely crush them 

Sesame seeds  -2 tbsps

Chopped Curry leaves - a handful 

Chopped coriander leaves - a handful

Salt and red chili powder as per taste

Melted butter - 2 tbsps

Method

Mix everything and make like chapati dough. Grease top of a ziploc bag with oil and take small balls and press into medium size discs and deep fry in the oil.
