I soak

1 cup urad dal

2 cups Sona Massori rice 

1 cup basmati for overnight or 8 to 10 hours 

And grind next day very fine n add salt n ferment 

In summer it will be done in another 8 to 10 hours 

 But winters more, so plan accordingly when you want to make. ( I experienced, once it goes in the fridge it isn’t that great )

Even if it goes in the fridge keep it out for at least two-three hours before u steam
