Balushahi

 




Balushahi recipe 

* All-purpose flour  - 2.5 cup/350 grams

* Salt  - 1 pinch

* Baking powder - 1 tsp

* Ghee - 1/2 cup/100 grams

* Water  - less than 1/2 cup

* nuts


Mix All Purpose Flour, Salt, Baking Powder, Ghee & add Water gradually & bind it with light hands. Cover it for 15-20 mins. I don’t prefer dong this with hands than stand mixer as this is what could make or break the perfect Balushahi.


Make round balls & make a hole in the centre then fry them in Ghee. Put the fried Balushahi in the lukewarm Sugar Syrup (1 string syrup) for 3 mins each side.

Garnish them with chopped Pistachios
