How to cook quinoa
1. Rinse
the quinoa in cold water for 30 seconds to remove any bitterness. Drain well
2. Using
the ratio of 1-part quinoa to 2-parts water, combine both in a saucepan over a medium heat and bring to boil
3. Once
the mixture is boiling, reduce to a gentle simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until
the quinoa has absorbed all the water
4. Remove
from the heat, cover, and let the quinoa sit for 5 minutes. Remove the lid,
fluff the quinoa with a fork and season as desired
