Chocolate Banana Nut Bread




Take 3 bananas add 1/2 cup of brown sugar ( or regular sugar) if you feel banana is not sweet add little more. Remember we are adding chocolate chips as well.
Add this to the blender and mix well.
Add  1 tsp cinnamon powder and 1 tsp vanilla essence as well.
Take this in a mixing bowl add 1/4 tesp salt.
To this add 3/4 cup all purpose flour 3/4th cup whole wheat flour and 1/4 cup carob powder. Those who use coco powder add that. Add 1 tesp baking powder and 1 tesp baking soda. Mix well with a spatula no need to mixing hard.
Add 2 tbsp of black poppy seeds ( optional), 1/2 cup of walnuts ( crush them with hand). Add 1/4th cup oil and 1/4 cup butter. Only Oil makes the cake crumble. You can use only butter or only oil as well.
Mix well. The consistency should not be too liquid. Dust the 1 tbsp of white chocolate chips with flour and add to the batter.
Line the baking pan with a parchment paper and pour the batter over it.
Now over the top you can sprinkle any nuts you wish. I added white chocolate chips, sliced almonds, sunflower seeds.

Preheat the oven at 310  degrees Fahrenheit first.
Bake for first 10 minutes at 310 then increase to 350.
Bake for 30 minutes. Check if it is done mine took more time around 45 minutes.
The top should not be wet.
Done. Let it cool completely before you cut it..

Note : sprinkle nuts in such a way that slicing the banana bread should not be a problem later.
